Looking for Little Tikes replacement parts? Good luck is all I can say.

You are probably here because you are trying to order replacement parts for your playhouse or something.

If you go to the Little Tikes website, and then to the "replacement parts" page, you may notice it is blank. That's odd. Is it your computer? Should you try Firefox? No.

They have posted a blank page.

But that's okay, because there is a phone number listed, so you figure you will call it and order the part (even though this mode of communication is a bit outdated).

Fine, so you call this number: 1-800-748-2204. The automated voice informs you that if you are ordering replacement parts, you should call the customer service department at a different number. Okay.

You call 1-800-321-0183. The automated voice informs you that if you are ordering replacement parts, you should call this other number. You write it down.

You start to call 1-800-748-2204. Wait a minute . . .

That's the same number you called in the first place.

So you decide you don't care what they say about calling somewhere else. You call one of their numbers and pick an available extension hoping to speak with a person who can tell the nice company that they have made a mistake putting customers into an eternal loop of phone calls that never ends.

But wait, while you're on hold, they blast rock music at you. Not just any rock music, but DISNEY rock music. Is this some sort of cruel joke?

Then it dawns on you. They're not going to sell you a part. The next thing will probably be having cold water sprayed in your face. You quickly hang up. Shaken.

.  .  .  .  .

You know, if Little Tikes does not want to sell replacement parts, couldn't they just say something like, "We don't sell replacement parts. Sorry."

Comments welcome.

(I'm actually looking for a doorbell for the Magic Doorbell Playhouse.)

  1. You know, they aren't selling parts because they want people to have to buy a new toy from them, instead of passing one around at yard sales.

  2. Your blog experience eerily mirrors my own. I just want to order some replacement wheels for our cozy coupe. No luck.
